Universal Design for Learning

An educational framework based on neuroscience research that guides the design of flexible learning experiences to accommodate individual learning differences. UDL provides three core principles: multiple means of engagement (the "why" of learning), multiple means of representation (the "what"), and multiple means of action and expression (the "how"). Unlike retrofitted accommodations, UDL proactively designs curricula that are accessible to all learners from the outset.
